Department Of Agriculture, Fisheries and The Marine
The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (DAFF) is the government department which leads the sustainable development of a competitive, consumer‐focused agri and fish-food sector within which it has responsibility for Animal Health and Welfare in Ireland. It has a research programme, to support investigations into topics of immediate relevance in the areas of animal health and welfare. An annual budget of between €6 million currently underpins this research.
