FASFC - Agence Fédérale pour la Sécurité de la Chaîne Alimentaire
The Belgian Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (FASFC) is a federal executive agency with authority on the whole Belgian territory. The task is to preserve the safety of the food chain and the quality of the food in order to protect the health of humans, animals and plants. It is the single authority responsible for the control of the safety of the Belgian food chain; including the control of animal diseases. The FASFC is member of the Program and Evaluation Committee of the research program on food safety, animal health and plant health policy and animal welfare, funded by the Belgian FPS-CR.

CODA CERVA - Centrum Voor Onderzoek in Diergeneeskunde en Agrochemie
The CODA‐CERVA is a federal scientific institute whose main mission aims at supporting a safe and sustainable agriculture. Through scientific research, expert advise and the provision of high quality services, the institution contributes to a pro‐active policy as regards safe food production, animal health and public health on the federal and international level.

The main aim of the Belgian Federal Public Service Health, Food Chain Safety and Environment (FPS) is to develop a transparent, dynamic and scientifically based policy, to ensure people’s health, a safe food chain and a better environment, both today and in the future.
